This is a protest song which champions the power of music and the arts to create positive change in the world. Written at a time when I was disillusioned by the political reality in the UK, the US and Colombia. After feeling initially powerless I decided to pick up my pen and my bass and write something that would make people feel joyful. This song is heavily influenced by the cumbia I had been immersed in in trips to Colombia in 2016, 17, 18, 19.... :-)
